National Cup Cake Week

National Cup Cake Week was launched in 2009 by British Baker magazine, with the aim of encouraging craft bakers, cafés, delis, coffee chains, convenience stores and supermarket in-store bakeries to celebrate the diversity and fun of the hugely popular cupcake, and to benefit from increased sales.

The week encompasses branding and point of sale, co-ordinated events, competitions, social media, PR and national media targeting to increase awareness around the event.

The event offers sponsorship opportunities for companies targeting cupcake makers and will begin on 13th September 2010; launched in 2009, the event was very successful, capturing the imagination of the trade and public alike and eliciting an enthusiastic response.
