The S. Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards and List is organised and compiled by Restaurant Magazine and sponsored by S.Pellegrino.
The list is the result of a panel of over 800 well-respected international dining experts voting on the best establishments they have eaten in, in the last 18 months. 2010's list was announced on 26th April 2010 at the historic Guildhall.
The voting panel, collectively known as The World's 50 Best Restaurants Academy, comprises of the world's most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs, food writers and renowned restaurant critics.
